Porcelain veneers, or porcelain laminates, are wafer-thin shells of porcelain which are bonded onto the front side of teeth so to make a cosmetic improvement. Porcelain veneers are routinely used to improve the appearance of teeth that are discolored, worn, chipped, or misaligned. Emax Veneers are cut from a solid block of material by a computer controlled milling machine. Each veneer is designed based on a digital scan of a model created from an impression taken by the dentist. It is because of this process that they can be produced very quickly and accurately.
